Memphis College of Art presents a memorial exhibition honoring the life and work of Peter Bowman—a beloved artist, teacher and friend in the Memphis community—in partnership with Memphis University School (MUS). Bowman taught art at MUS for nearly 30 years, as well as at Rhodes College and in MCA’s Community Education program. The exhibition is free and open to the public. Artwork is available for purchase, and upon the gracious request of Beth Bowman, a portion of the proceeds will benefit MCA’s scholarship fund. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m–5 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m.–4 p.m.; and Sunday noon–4 p.m.
