Moonlighting for the Cure Benefit for St Jude Children's Research Hospital @ Tin Roof | Memphis | Tennessee | United States

The Moonlighting for the Cure Benefit is a multiple band concert at Tin Roof on Beale St on July 15 to benefit St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Our unique angle is that each band performing features at least one St Jude employee who “moonlights” as a musician. On July 15th we are using our music to give back to St Jude.
Last year we raised over $1800 for St Jude and aim to beat that by a wide margin this year. Admission at the event will be by voluntary donation. We will also have a silent auction featuring some art work by St Jude employees including Shawn Young of Kingfish Metalworks among others.

St Jude Children’s Research Hospital was founded by entertainer, Danny Thomas, to fulfill a vow of gratitude. Danny Thomas used his talents and those of his fellow entertainers to raise the money to start, build and continue the Hospital to fight catastrophic diseases in children. In this tradition we are pledging our support to help as the hospital’s needs continue to grow.

The musicians, organizers and volunteers take no payment from the event and all proceeds go to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
