Number: 25 years and 25 more

Hello readers! As you know our region is rich in talent, venues, and passion for visual art. Number:’s 25 year volunteer run publication history is a unique tribute to the amazing visual arts of our region. We recently extended our efforts for arts coverage by creating a website designed to make it easier for you to get involved in that coverage. Number: Inc wants your participation in our print and online efforts to cover visual art in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas.

Since Number: Inc does not employ staff writers, we rely on submissions from our readers, artists, professionals, and others interested in being a part of our region’s arts conversation. We want to hear from you! Find out more about how you can write for Number: at numberinc.org/write. Submissions are reviewed by our editor and editorial committee for consideration in the print and online publication.

NumberInc.org is also beginning a new effort to serve our area through an online calendar of events. Do you have an event you would like to promote or a press release you would like us to post? NumberInc.org/events is home to our regional calendar of art events. You can subscribe to this calendar to get automatic updates. The calendar has powerful sorting fields to help you find the events you want to go to. Events can be submitted to this calendar at numberinc.org/submit. Users can also upload a photo to help promote their event.

Number: Inc hopes to grow our online presence and continue our print tradition with your help. We thank all of you who have contributed to Number: in the past and hope to keep hearing from you. We also look forward to 25 more years with an invitation for more of our readership to get involved. You can help promote the visual arts in our region simply by tweeting and using Facebook to let others know about this ongoing opportunity. If you want to do more simply contact us or become a supporter.
